Insurance tends to be treated like a transaction. We’ve always approached it differently.

Firey & Associates Insurance Services was founded in 2008 as a father-and-son agency in Orange County.

From the beginning, the goal wasn’t to build a large, transactional business — it was to build something more personal. The kind of agency people could rely on for clear guidance, especially when things weren’t straightforward.

Over time, that approach has shaped how we work with every client.

Where that comes from

Insurance decisions are rarely as simple as they look on paper.

Whether it’s a home, multiple vehicles with young drivers, or a growing portfolio of rental properties, most situations involve tradeoffs — coverage, cost, and risk all pulling in different directions.

We’ve always believed the right role of an agent is to help people think through those decisions clearly, not to push them toward a particular outcome.

That means slowing things down when needed, asking better questions, and focusing on what actually matters in your situation.

How we work

As an independent agency, we work with a range of insurance carriers so we can approach each situation with flexibility.

But more importantly, when you work with us, you’re working directly with an experienced agent — not a call center or a rotating support team.

That consistency matters. It allows us to understand your situation over time and give advice that reflects it.

Across the agency, we bring over 50 years of combined experience, but the focus has always been less about volume and more about doing things the right way.

Who we typically work with

We tend to work best with clients whose insurance needs have become more complex over time.

  • Families with younger drivers

  • Homeowners who want confidence their coverage is truly adequate

  • Property owners with multiple rental or investment properties

Many of our clients come to us when they realize their situation isn’t as straightforward as it once was — and they want clearer guidance on how everything fits together.

What matters to us

We don’t think of this as a sales process.

If something makes sense, we’ll explain why.
If it doesn’t, we’ll say that too.

There are times when we’re not the best fit — and that’s okay. We’re still happy to help point people in the right direction or offer perspective where we can.

At the end of the day, the goal is simple:
help you make decisions you feel confident about.
